NYSC 2026 Batch B Stream I Deployment List Is Out
The National Youth Service Corps has officially released the deployment list for the 2026 Batch B Stream I mobilization exercise. Prospective corps members can now log into the NYSC portal to check which state they have been posted to for their mandatory one-year national service.
The scheme announced the development through its official X handle on Monday, confirming that deployment details are now accessible online.
The NYSC 2026 Batch B deployment list shows the states where qualified graduates will serve during their service year. It does not yet confirm your specific Place of Primary Assignment, which is typically determined after orientation camp. What you will find at this stage includes:
- The state you have been deployed to
- Information on your orientation camp reporting date
- Camp requirements and documentation expectations
- Your overall service year schedule
This is one of the most significant stages of the NYSC mobilization process, sitting between the completion of registration and the start of orientation camp.
To access your deployment details, follow these steps:
- Visit the official NYSC portal at portal.nysc.org.ng
- Log in with your NYSC registration credentials
- Navigate to the deployment section on your dashboard
- Download or print your call-up letter for reference
Corps members are advised to check the portal as soon as possible and begin preparing for orientation camp based on the reporting dates shown on their dashboard.
Orientation camp is the immediate next step after deployment. It typically runs for three weeks and serves as the formal introduction to the NYSC scheme. During camp, corps members undergo physical drills, civic education sessions, skills acquisition programmes, and other activities organized by the scheme.
After camp, corps members are assigned to their Place of Primary Assignment, which is the organization or institution where they will carry out their primary duties for the bulk of the service year.
Missing your orientation camp reporting date without an approved excuse can affect your service year status, so it is important to confirm your dates immediately and begin making travel arrangements if you have been posted to a state outside your home state.
A Note for Those With Redeployment Concerns
If you have medical, marital, or security-related grounds for requesting a redeployment, the NYSC has an official process for that. It is advisable to begin that process early and through the proper channels rather than waiting until after camp has started.
