3 APC Delegates Die in Accident En Route Abuja
The APC delegates accident involving members of the Kebbi State delegation has claimed the lives of three party representatives.
The victims have been identified as:
- Abubakar Sadiq, Senior Special Assistant to the Kebbi State Governor
- Hadiza Sabo Warrah, Councillor representing Warrah Ward
- Sahabi Alheri, Councillor representing Birnin Yauri Ward in Ngaski Local Government Area
According to official reports, the APC delegates accident occurred while the group was traveling to attend the party’s national conference in Abuja.
A statement from Yahaya Sarki, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the governor, explained that the victims were struck by a moving vehicle while attempting to cross the road during a stop along their journey.
The APC delegates accident reportedly happened after their vehicle paused en route to the Federal Capital Territory.
Their injuries from the collision were severe, ultimately leading to their deaths.
The news has since triggered an outpouring of grief across Kebbi State.
Governor Nasir Idris expressed shock at the incident and extended his condolences to the families of the deceased.
He described their passing as a significant loss, noting that their contributions to the development of Kebbi State will not be forgotten.
