Nigerian Army Reports Gains in Nationwide Operations
The latest Nigerian Army operations update highlights a series of coordinated efforts aimed at disrupting criminal networks, intercepting supplies, and protecting civilians across the country.
According to the Nigerian Army, these actions took place within a 24-hour window and were driven by intelligence-led planning.
In Borno State, troops from 192 Battalion reportedly carried out an ambush in Kuranabassa Village, Gwoza Local Government Area.

- Suspected ISWAP/JAS elements were engaged
- Weapons and ammunition were recovered
- Additional items linked to operations were seized
Recovered materials included:
- One AK-47 rifle
- One magazine with 12 rounds of ammunition

In a separate operation, troops from 27 Task Force Brigade, working alongside the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), intercepted vehicles suspected of transporting supplies.
