Bandit Attacks in Kwara Leave Several Dead
A Kwara bandit attack has left several people dead after armed assailants reportedly stormed Kemanji village in Kaiama Local Government Area.
What followed, according to local and security sources, was hours of fear, resistance, and loss.
The attack reportedly began around 3 a.m., catching residents off guard.
Security personnel, including members of the Nigerian Army and local vigilantes, engaged the attackers in a gun battle that lasted until about 5 a.m.
Early reports from the Kwara bandit attack indicate:

In a related development, another suspected attack occurred in Ora Ayegbaju, Obbo-Ile, within Ekiti Local Government Area.
The incident reportedly took place around 10 p.m. on Sunday.
According to available information:
- Three brothers were injured
- Other residents managed to escape
The injured individuals, identified as AbdulJareem Adamu, AbdulJareem Yunusa, and AbdulJareem Yusuf, are currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Osi town.
As of the time of reporting, authorities have not released official statements regarding either incident.
