41 Rustled Cattle Recovered by Troops in Plateau State.

Troops from Sector 2 of Operation Enduring Peace, working alongside local vigilantes, have recovered 41 rustled cattle in the Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Security and counter-insurgency specialist Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a post on X, citing the operation which took place during a combat patrol along the Bangalala-Adua road on April 27 at around 7:30 a.m.

According to Makama, the animals had been abandoned by suspected terrorists who fled upon sighting the approaching security operatives.

"The cattle were successfully recovered and are currently in the custody of the troops pending further necessary action.

"Patrols have been intensified in the area to deter further incidents of cattle rustling and other criminal activities," he said.
