Donald Trump Vows to Prevent World War III and End Global Conflicts

Donald Trump, the U.S. president-elect, has pledged to prevent a third world war and resolve ongoing global conflicts upon taking office.

In a pre-inauguration address to his supporters, Trump expressed his commitment to ending the war in Ukraine and resolving turmoil in the Middle East. He stated: "I will end the war in Ukraine, stop the chaos in the Middle East, and prevent World War III from happening. You have no idea how close we are."

Trump’s inauguration, set to take place inside the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, marks the first indoor ceremony in four decades due to extreme weather conditions. The last time a U.S. presidential inauguration was moved indoors was in 1985 during Ronald Reagan’s second swearing-in, also caused by severe cold.

Addressing the decision to move the ceremony indoors, Trump posted on Truth Social: "There is an Arctic blast sweeping the country. I don’t want to see people hurt or injured in any way. Therefore, I have ordered the Inauguration Address, in addition to prayers and other speeches, to be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda."

The president-elect’s inauguration will also feature live broadcasts for supporters, with events including the presidential procession relocated to the Capital One Arena to accommodate attendees.
