  • 38 laptops

The devices are suspected to have been used in activities such as:

In addition to the suspects, a Ghanaian landlord was arrested for allegedly housing more than 100 of the individuals in his property.

Authorities warned that property owners have a responsibility to ensure their premises are not used to facilitate criminal activity.

Ghanaian officials reaffirmed their commitment to combating cybercrime while encouraging the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious online behavior.

“Ghana remains welcoming to all friends and neighbours interested in legitimate enterprise. However, if you are interested in committing cybercrime, we will find you, arrest you, and deal with you decisively according to our laws,” the statement added.
