NAF Airstrikes Decimate Boko Haram Hideout in Borno

In a major breakthrough against insurgency, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has conducted precision airstrikes that dealt a severe blow to Boko Haram militants in Bita, Borno State.

According to Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, the strikes were part of Operation Hadin Kai and specifically targeted fleeing terrorists with pinpoint accuracy.

• The airstrikes were carried out under cover of darkness, enhancing the element of surprise.

• Multiple insurgents were neutralized in what has been described as one of the most decisive blows against Boko Haram in recent times.

• Ground forces have commenced clearance and exploitation missions to consolidate the gains achieved by the air offensive.

• No civilian casualties were reported in the operation.

The Nigerian Air Force emphasized its unwavering commitment to defending Nigeria’s territorial integrity and protecting law-abiding citizens.

In a public statement, the NAF declared:

“No terrorist element will find safe haven within the borders of Nigeria. Every necessary step is being taken to secure the nation and dismantle threats to peace and stability.”
