The Nigerian Army has opened an investigation into the sudden deaths of a serving soldier, Lance Corporal Femi, and his wife, whose bodies were discovered in their residence at Wawa Cantonment, Ilorin.

In a statement released on Monday, Captain Stephen Nwankwo, Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, 22 Armoured Brigade, confirmed that the couple was found lifeless in their apartment at Block 15, Room 24, Corporals and Below Quarters.
