Lagos Doctor Alleges That A Patient Attempted to Stab Him After HIV Diagnosis

A Nigerian doctor has shared a shocking incident involving a patient who tested positive for HIV at a General House in Lagos.

The doctor, known on X as @silverpenydr, said he informed the woman of her initial HIV-positive test, but she reportedly rejected the results and demanded a retest. Two days later, the follow-up test also returned positive.

According to the doctor, the patient allegedly attempted to stab him with a needle after learning of the confirmed diagnosis. The doctor stated that he escalated the situation, after which the patient was reportedly released immediately.
