Nigeria’s Ministry of Interior to Begin Nationwide Recruitment July 14

The Federal Ministry of Interior has officially announced the commencement of recruitment into several of its key parastatals starting Monday, July 14, 2025.

The announcement, which was made via the Ministry's verified X (formerly Twitter) page, outlines that interested and qualified Nigerians can begin applying to serve in the following agencies:

• Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)

• Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

• Nigeria Fire Service (NFS)

• Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS)

Applicants are required to register and submit their applications via the official recruitment portal:

The Ministry also advised applicants to visit its official website for detailed information on:

The Ministry stressed that the recruitment process is completely free and merit-based, urging applicants to avoid middlemen or fraudulent agents.

"Any candidate caught offering bribes or engaging in impersonation will be disqualified and prosecuted," a source within the Ministry added.
