Massive 2025 Recruitment Drive: Civil Defense, Fire, Immigration, and Correctional Services to Hire Nationwide

The Federal Government has officially announced a major recruitment exercise across four key paramilitary agencies under the Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).


In a statement released Tuesday by the Ministry of Interior, the recruitment will span:

  • Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

  • Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)

  • Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS)

  • Federal Fire Service (FFS)

The online portal (https://recruitment.cdcfib.org) will open for applications starting Thursday, June 26, 2025, and remain active for three weeks only.

Eligible candidates must:

  • Be Nigerian citizens aged 18–35

  • Be at least 1.65m tall (men) or 1.60m (women)

  • Have a minimum chest width of 0.87m (men only)

  • Be physically and mentally fit

  • Have no criminal record

  • Possess at least a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with credits in English and Mathematics

Additional qualifications like NCE, OND, HND, or bachelor's degrees in technical fields, law, or medicine are highly encouraged.

Step 2: Create an account
Use a valid email, phone number, and password.

Step 3: Choose a single agency and position
You can only apply to ONE of the following:

  • NSCDC

  • NIS

  • FFS

  • NCoS

And pick a position under one of three categories:

  • Category A – Superintendent Cadre

  • Category B – Inspectorate Cadre

  • Category C – Assistant Cadre

Step 4: Upload documents
Provide your biodata, certificates, birth certificate, passport photo, and valid national ID.

Step 5: Review and submit

Step 6: Save your acknowledgment slip
Print or download after submission.

Important Reminders

  • The application is FREE; do not pay anyone.

  • Computer literacy is an added advantage.

  • Submitting multiple applications = automatic disqualification.

  •  Apply early to avoid last-minute issues.
