Primate Ayodele Warns Governor Sanwo-Olu of Imminent Political Threat

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a stark warning to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, urging him to change his approach or risk being removed from office.

The caution comes amid growing rumors of a political rift between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sanwo-Olu, a development Primate Ayodele claims to have foreseen at the beginning of Sanwo-Olu’s second term.

In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele said:

“I had said Sanwo-Olu and Tinubu will fight. Sanwo-Olu’s and Tinubu’s fight hasn’t started; if he isn’t careful, he will be removed.”

Ayodele warned that unless Governor Sanwo-Olu reconciles with Tinubu, he could be disgracefully removed by 2026. He also appealed to President Tinubu to prevent the planned ouster.

“I want to beg Tinubu not to allow them to remove him.”

The Primate criticized the current political landscape, saying:

“It’s unfortunate that there are no elderly people in politics; they are all after what they would eat, and they don’t arrange things. If there is no money, they don’t do anything.”

He advised the governor to stay calm and avoid listening to hardline advisers pushing him toward conflict:

“Sanwo-Olu needs to calm down, find a solution between you and your boss. Once you leave there, you’ll realize people don’t respect you they’re only with you because you’re still in power.”

Primate Ayodele concluded his warning with a dire prophecy:

“If you are not careful, they will remove you in 2026. Prayers will not be able to save you then if you don’t retrace your steps.”
