Yobe Governor Swears In New Grand Khadi, Advisers, and Secretaries
Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has urged newly appointed officials, including the state’s new Grand Khadi, Abba Alhaji Mammadi, to uphold justice, fairness, and honesty without regard to political, religious, or ethnic differences. The governor delivered the charge during a swearing-in ceremony held at the Government House Banquet Hall in Damaturu.

Governor Buni emphasized that the appointments were based on merit, dedication, and loyalty. He tasked the officials to:
Reinforce due process in governance.
Be proactive and introduce innovative ideas.
Ensure effective service delivery to meet the expectations of Yobe residents.
“Government would continue to equip and reposition the Public Service to be more responsive to our current demands for speedy and effective implementation of our policies and programmes to meet the yearnings and aspirations of our people,” Buni assured.
Abba Alhaji Mammadi, a respected jurist with 29 years of service in the State Judicial Service, was appointed as Grand Khadi of Yobe State. His experience is expected to strengthen the judiciary and promote fairness across the state’s legal system.
