Governor Namadi Confirms New Appointments to Jigawa Civil Service Commission

Governor Malam Umar Namadi has approved new appointments and promotions within the Jigawa State Civil Service Commission, strengthening the leadership of the commission.

According to a press release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim, the following changes have been made:

• Babandi Saleh was appointed as Permanent Member II of the Civil Service Commission.

• Ibrahim Adamu Fagam was appointed as Permanent Member III of the Commission.

• Muhammad Bare was promoted from Permanent Member II to Permanent Member I.

The Jigawa State House of Assembly screened and confirmed the appointments during its sitting No. 031 on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 (24th Safar, 1447 AH).

The SSG emphasized that the officials must carry out their duties with diligence, integrity, and strict adherence to established protocols guiding the Commission.

The press release made clear that all appointments and promotions take effect immediately.
