Troops Recover Weapons After Clash with Terrorists in Borno
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have recovered multiple weapons during an intelligence-led operation along the Mafa border corridor in Borno State.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed the development in a post on Sunday via his X handle.
The joint forces retrieved:
Three AK-47 rifles.
Five magazines filled with ammunition.
According to reports, the operation followed an earlier encounter with terrorists on August 7, during which several fighters were neutralized. The sweep targeted areas believed to be used as arms storage by the militants.
Military leaders commended the troops for their success and urged them to sustain intelligence-driven operations across the North-East. These missions are part of ongoing efforts to weaken terrorist supply chains and protect vulnerable communities.
